I usually run around as a white cloak and attempt to help red cloaks around. Or i play around with other white cloaks. either way some kinda fun is to be had. this time around i attempted to pretend to be a NPC to a red cloak, but i think they were onto me from the beginning especially since their cloak had all the marking on it. then again who knows…either way it was kinda fun until about the 3rd level where i tend to surf everywhere and flip off of everything. pretty sure i gave myself away at that point if not sooner…
Fast forward to the underground temple part. so me and my companion are just conversing and strolling about, getting ready to walk up on the first stone dragon that pops up. as soon as he jumps up and eat that poor ribbon dragon i purposely trip up and fall. it looked funny at first, but then when the dragon took off he knocked both me and my companion over. i laughed but i felt bad cause that wasn’t supposed to happen. luckily no scarves were lost in that stunt.
Now onto the snowy mountain part. time for us to avoid that lovely stone dragon again. i’m usually pretty good at getting people through this part without any scarf casualties. well…70% of the time…im usually the one to get hit cause i distract the stone dragons, but not this time. we attempted to hide in the shelters lying about but he spotted my companion and took the both of us out. since that was a no-go i tried to lead him the long way, away from the center along the mountainside, but his scarf was so short now and he couldn’t jump. i tried to help him, but here comes the dragon again and he takes yet another chomp out of my companions scarf. at this point I’m kinda upset. mainly at myself cause i couldn’t get to him in time to distract the dragon, and a little at that dragon cause come on man you already had 2 dinners! it was the one time i actually let that get to me.
Anyway the final part made up for it. it was one of the few times i kept my companion around throughout the whole stage. especially at the jellyfish, where i tend to lose people just cause that part just pulls me into it. once we got to the top i drew a heart in the snow for them. i don’t think they noticed it at first but when they did see it they drew one back. i thought it was cute and i was glad they did. made me feel slightly better about the whole dragon eating both our scarves thing. i’ll master avoiding them soon, just you wait…
