All Four Seasons?!

So I was reading into the “unofficial” lyrics of ‘I was Born for This’ in the ‘autumn falls’ lyric, and its struck me totally from left field.

Journey depicts all four seasons in its game.

[sidenote: lyrics are excerpts, or believed to be since it’s still unofficial, from famous hero’s journeys like Joan of Arc, Beowulf and the Aeneid.]

It starts in spring [flower, you remember the trophy?] which many of us connect to ‘birth’ or rebirth.

followed by summer, riding along the scarves and passing such beautiful scenery.

Fall, you literally fall into the abyss, plus you come to know how this civilization ‘fell.’ This is more prominent in the tower section where we are given one last mortal glimpse of the beauty that it once had, almost like the ‘last autumn leaves before winter sets in.’ It’s when its at its peak.

Winter, that one is obvious. But winter is is truly beautiful isn’t it? I always loved winter…tsk!

Use, reuse, recycle, the cycle starts over from spring.
