We used Journey for one of our video projects at our school, and I wanted to share it so others can (hopefully) enjoy our work. It was our first time shooting anything like this and a huge learning process. We wanted to document the experience of playing Journey in real-life.

Well, it was my first mural and who could I draw other than good old red cloak? It’s about 3/4 a yard tall. I’m pretty happy with it.

Journey — The Drop by SpoonfishLee
(The timelapse video of this is unbelievable.)

To the White Cloak who couldn’t finish with me;
I just want to let you know. I waited.

I really really like this game.
This print for Fanime is based on an experience in Journey where my partner started drawing hearts and writing to me at the very end of the game, and then sent me a really nice message through the playstation network.

:D
This game is so amazing.
I have only watched my friends play it, but it is one of the most beautiful games I have ever seen. And it is so minimalist at the same time. Games have gotten so convoluted, it’s a breath of fresh air to have something sweet and that reminds us to be present in the moment. I think that says something.

Click pets might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but these were too adorable to keep to myself~.
White can be found here.
Red can be found here.
I made Journey cubies!! Those square avatars from icongenerator.net gave me the idea and I used their little pattern thing for the cube for these. So major credit to them! I don’t claim the cube pattern or base image!!
However! I did spend some time putting their little cloak embroidery on for all stages of completion including the white cloak! Also had to add the headband and chinstrap (white only). Not a whole lot of work, but a tad tedious.
Now you can have little Journey cubies!! Yay!

I’ve yet to play Journey, but, I really, really want to. I’ve seen a bit of the beginning, even played the demo myself, but I look forward to really being able to play it.
It looks amazing from what I’ve seen, and seems like a great experience… one I want to experience for myself, and soon.
And then, maybe I can post my own story here, too.
